Larger boulder you can see easily- look uphill from the road just past Deer Cove parking.
Getting There
Park at Deer Cove and take the trail just to the right of the sign up and into the woods. This is the first boulder you come to. Alternatively, walk about 30 yards down the road past the parking and look up and left into the woods. There it is.
The Classics
Mountain Project's determination of some of the classic, most popular, highest rated routes for Loch Ness Boulder:
I finally got to Gov Dodge to check out some the problems posted on this site after not bouldering there since 2000-01. For what its worth, I did all three of Lochness boulder problems back then. Also the two easier problem on the pimp boulder. I never named anything - just moving over stone and having fun. Someone may have been there before me, but I don't know.
You guys/gals are finding and putting up some great routes -Thanks for sharing the information. Using this site's information, I was able to get on some new routes I've never seen before. Its always fun to get on new stone.
