Boulders are everywhere.

Description

It's in the trees near the boat launch just below the cliff line.

Getting There

The 'new' best way to get there is to park at the Deer Cove Picnic area(same parking as D.I.Boulders) and go up to the left on the existing trail, continue along the trail past the rock shelter and it will spit you out right at the 'Out Past Curfew' boulder. Just beyond that is the Deutcschlander wall.

Boat Landing and Danny's Imaginary Boulders. In reality it's a little more stretched out, so if you park at the Boat Landing, you have to walk a little more east along the road to get to the boulders. Should be good if you park at Deer Cove.

It seems like a better way to approach this area would be to park at the Deer Cove picnic area and walk up the trail towards the left that leads to the old cave habitat. You can follow the already existing trail along the wall straight to the boulders. This would eliminate the need for bushwhacking and the creation of an unnecessary trail coming up from the boatlanding.

Thoughts??

I agree that this is also a good way as well. Only thoughts are the limited parking that there is at that spot. whether that is a problem im not totally sure. also the place where my directions send you across the road there is a seemingly existing but faint trail up and brings you essentially to the big jim boulder. I agree though that its a good spot for approach.

fun stuff. nice stop for a few problems wish there was more rock in this spot but fun if your going to move to a few areas in a day.

It wasn't too bad to park at the boat landing and walk to Deer Cove then up if Deer Cove is crowded.

We picked up a faint trail from the road by the boat landing but ended up mostly bushwhacking.
