Description

A cool bus-sized boulder with a 45 degree overhanging face that holds a few great lines.

Getting There

3 ways:

1. Follow directions for Barrel Ridge and go left when you get to the ridge past Testtickler, etc. Follow the ridgeline around for about 5 minutes staying more or less on the altitude you are on. You will see the boulder after a drainage.

2. Find Barrel Ridge and top something out. Go straight back and follow faint trail in a leftward trending direction (south east-ish). When you come to the small drainage, head down it ~100 feet and look to your right.

3. Park as for Barrel Ridge. Find the Sandbox Boulders in the drainage valley. Walk straight up the center of the valley (south). You will see this boulder almost to the top of the valley rim. See photo just to the right on this page. ------->
