Classic Devils Lake edges and transitions

Description

A cozy little area that is easy to miss, there are several great routes here, including "Fine Tuning," "Largo," and "Torn Joint."

In between Rattlesnake Ridge and Mousehole Buttress.

Getting There

Park below and hike straight up. It is guarded below by a low angle, scrappy buttress - going around to the right is slightly easier than going around to the left.

Alternatively, traverse over from Prayer/Rattlesnake, or from Mousehole

Continue more or less straight up on edges, with the occasional finger lock.As far as I can tell, there is just the minor variation of starting in a slightly different place to distinguish these routes ("Largo" left, "Encore" right of the corner)....[more]   Browse More Classics in WI
