yes climbing seems to be allowed here. there seems to be people that live in trailers all over the place. kinda look like they are 'squatting' or something. so u might get shot by a redneck. aside from that, u should be ok :-)

it is sort of unclear who owns the land at rattlesnake mound. there is no signage or other postings and it is pretty close to residences.

As far as I know the land is state owned, not 100% sure though. When the two tornadoes touched down, we were there the next week and locals said the state was letting people cut and take wood. The place was a disaster.

Yeah, it seems pretty certain that if people weren't allowed there would be signs.
