| Wow, is it possible to be more crytic or are you simply trolling? Who was the email from? Was it sent to a grouplist, etc., etc.? Attached a copy of the email...? Details... | FLAG |

| Oooo, or how 'bout this... ¢«ǝɔɐɟ ʎǝl©¥ɯs ¢¯ǝslǝ ʎpoqʎuɐ ¢«uʍɐɹpɥʇ©¥ʍ uosɯɐ©¥ll©¥ʍ ¢«l©¥ɐɯ-ǝ ʇoƃ ʇsnɾ Never realized that lacking sufficient information = cryptic. Furthermore, when one is being cryptic, this amounts to internet trolling. Learn something new every day. And in defense of FatDad, I also get angry when someone makes me have to move my mouse hand a little to find more info. Grrrr, give us all the skinny and give it up now Lopez, you filthy Troll! | FLAG |

| ..wouldn't that be nice. I can't beleive that place has been closed for so long, but I do fear that when it reopens it'll never be the same; overrun with all the gym people that have been spawned since it was closed. -not hat'n just posting my thoughts..like in RIP Williamson.
- OP I did not get an email*

| I know this has nothing to do with the proposed 3 year extension of the closure, or the withdrawl of, but we can all rest assured that the gym spawn won't be crawling like ticks on this rock for at the very least another year... or anyone else for that matter. In case anyone's reading this post hoping that Williamson is opening soon or something, here you go.

| Yeah, yeah, yeah. My gripe was that, rather than sharing the info (which would likely be of interest given this site), he simply asked if anyone else got the email. So: Q: Hey I got this email. Did you? A: Yeah, I got it. ...end of thread? So, to actually this discuss the topic, does that mean that the ban is only thru the end of this year? I suppose there's nothing to prevent them from instituting another one just before the end of the year. I look forward to Williamson opening again, but I'm not holding my breath. BTW, Taylor, your message was not more cryptic than the OP, just shorter. Close though. | FLAG |

| I'm not sure but looks like they have been basically extending this each year for one reason or another but last June... well, have a look at this story tinyurl.com/84hqw6n and see what you think. Some pretty strong language from Judge Patel. Sooo, I wouldn't plan on climbing Williamson in the foreseeable future. | FLAG |

| The email I received was from a Lisa Lugo from the forest service and it was stating that last October she was asking for an additional 3 year closure. and she is now withdrawing that request the current closure is slated to expire at the end of this year. We can all have hope can't we? Well I do anyway whats the worst that could happen they leave it closed nothing gained nothing lost by a little hope :) | FLAG |

Any update on williamson opening? ..moot either way, it's winter and it would be pretty cold there during the season. *Not saying it's not possible to climb there but I can remember climbing there once in Oct/Nov and it was very cold for my SoCal hands. | FLAG |
