White Noise Boulder.

Description

This is a tall boulder south of the main chunk of boulders on the other side of Chinese Algebra. There is potential for climbs on all three sides, so you can climb here all day and stay in the shade. It appears to be pretty good quality, but it definitely needs some cleaning.

Getting There

If you park in the main parking lot for Chinese Algebra, park on the far north side of the lot, cross the street, and walk straight up the hill. It's located right in the middle of the hill.

If you're parking in the lot just north of Chinese Algebra, you'll still hike up the hill, but also head south about 5-7 minutes.

Reinforced Static V0+  CO : Grand Junction area : ... : White Noise Boulder
Start on an obvious horn on the left side of the north face. You'll know it when you see it. From there, follow the crescent crack up to the good top out. This would be a good problem to start on if you're warming up or if you're new to bouldering. The landing is pretty good too. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
