Description This route is not actually located on the 'Cactus Rose Cliff'. It is located just past and to the far right side of the crag. if you walk along the path at the far right end of 'Cactus Rose' there will be routes popping up along the wooded trail. This route is located on a blunt arete and the face to it's right. The hangers are all new and there is a long chain at the anchor, which you will spot from the ground, to be sure of the route. The climbing is quite nice riding the arete, face to the right passing 5 nicely spaced bolts along the way. A great route for intro leaders, you may want to stick clip the first bolt, start just uphill and around the arete to reach big holds. A decent route. Note, Stephen Z added this route with the actual name subsequent to this posting. Hence, the descriptions were combined.
Protection 5 bolts - 2 bolt anchor w/chains.

| This route is listed as Whisper of Immortality in the Sharp End (blue) Shelf guide. 4 bolts to overly generous chains. Watch out for a loose block disguised as a bomber hold right at the second bolt as of 5-16-07. |

| As of 7-1-07, the suspect hold next to the FIRST bolt is gone. I wiggled it a bit sideways while rappeling, and it popped off with no effort. The resulting hold will be very nice for clipping the first bolt once all of the dirt has been brushed/rained off. Dan Godshall |
