Where to Climb in July?

My friend and I are trying to plan a climbing trip somewhere in the U.S. for the first week of July. We had originally wanted to go to Yosemite, but we're afraid it's going to be too hot.

Anybody have suggestions of where the best July climbing locations are? It would be nice to find somewhere that is going to be sunny and 65 degrees for a week straight! Looking for any high quality rock, trad climbing preferred. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Seneca, WV, you can always find something shady depending on the time of day. Yosemite is getting pretty hot by then.

Devil's Lake and Tettegouche state park. Tettegouche is right on top of Lake Superior, so it's not going to get too hot, and since you are near Wisconsin, you would be silly not to sample Devil's Lake

t meadows will be nice that time of year, minus the mozzies.

Lake Tahoe.

Tuolumne will be nice and cool as well that time of year. Last year we had some issues with afternoon thunderstorms though, and it's still freezing at night.

Do the Wolf's Head or Pingora in the Winds. There are hardly any crowds and never a shortage of things to do other than great climbing. You just gotta be down for a little hiking.

A Wyoming trip could be quite nice: Sport Climbing in Tensleep Canyon and Wild Iris. Alpine rock in the Winds and Tetons, and assorted cragging around Jackson Hole. The weather will be perfect, and it's a shorter drive than California.

Big/Little Cottonwood Canyon

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
