OK, fat chance, but have to ask.

If one wanted to take a gal climbing and have lunch on the climb, so maybe a place where there is a huge ledge that doesn't get traffic (fat chance) with a nice view?

Where would you go? And whats the best time so we would have the trees changing as a backdrop to our lunch?

Approach would ideally be like 0-3 hours. And ideally close to Ft. Collins area.

climbing ability is kinda questionable... I know she has been once, no clue where or what grade. I'd say 5.5 or easier.

Having been through this scenario once, a girl promised me she climbed all of the time, we went, and she had no clue how to belay.... Take her somewhere first to assess her abilities. AnthonyM

If you want the trees to be changing WHILE your eating lunch may I suggest some psilocybin? Get high enough and it won't matter where you are. it could even be your backyard. Cornelius Jefferson

lol, if only...

Even if she couldn't belay, I'd feel way in my comfort zone for a 5.5 or easier. I would probably scout it ahead of time anyways.
