Good afternoon!
Im seeking a recommendation for the best guidebook, that is also available in print, for the Bugaboos.(Amazon preferably or if YOU are selling a copy?)

Planning a late July/early August trip.

Also, any advice for camping/hostels/lodging/etc welcomed.

Thank you in advance!

Rock and Snow acts like they have Atkinson and Piche's book in inventory...I am not so sure they really do. It is the preferred book for most. I have been climbing in the Bugaboos for the past 20 years and it is the reference I prefer. New routes at the higher grades are available at a variety of sources on line. The hut always has tons of copies of the pages printed out that folks leave behind for others....the entire book several times over really. So you could easily go in without a copy.

Camping wise, unless you are use to sleeping with 20 snoring strangers (more over weight tourists make it to the hut then you might realize until you sleep there and notice half of them snore) in close confines (Kain Hut), your best camping option is up at Applebee which is a pretty splendid spot. Good luck on your trip.
