DescriptionBeautiful water featured rock just west through the woods from the Dirty Crack Boulder. Pockets, pinches, slopers on great solid stone and some really cool albeit small roof problems. Getting ThereFrom the Dirty Crack Boulder head west directly across the AT trail go downhill for about 50-75 yards cross a wet area, follow the ridge line up past a couple smaller boulders and look for the Maritime Boulder to left right on the edge of the ridge.  Start deep down low in the cave part of the blue hole boulder on a good flake on the left side of the boulder. Traverse over about 3' on a "Barely able to fit my fingers in this crack" crack and then shoot a hand up to a little pocket just before the boulder turns into a slab, then shoot your left hand up over the lip reaching to find one of the small pockets and then slap you're right hand around the arete to a little quartz nodule and get high feet to shoot up to a jug, then top out....[more] Browse More Classics in VT |
