Description 

Section of Beauty Mountain with a number of famous sport (Concertina, Stabat Mater, Gun Club) and trad routes (Super Crack, Mushrooms, Right Son of Thunder). Usually a good choice for those who want to avoid the crowds. Just like Endless, it is sunny and hot in mid day.


Getting There 

Walk along the cliff for about 20-30 minutes until the trail goes through rocky area under a huge roof. Just past the roof there is a large boulder which forms a cave enclosed on the left with a vertical orange face (Gun Club). The Thunder Buttress area starts here.

This route has excellent moves the whole way. The start is a bit tricky for the first 15 Ft. Small nuts protect the moves well. Continue up the crack on good locks until the crack peters out.
