This speedtrap (I believe) is on the way to Summersville Lake from Fayeteville.

To be exact, Fayetteville city cops lie in wait on both sides (north and south) of the traffic light intersection of routes 19 & 16. Nabbing unsuspecting visitors is a substantial $$$ resource they rely on to fill their city coffers. Just watch your speed here, and patronize the local businesses, NOT city hall!

Certainly cops do wait for tourists around that intersection, not only for speeding but also for toursits not obeying the signs that say that there is No Right On Red at that light, a rule toursits frequently disobey. As a semi-quasi-half-local I love watching those annoying tourists from the midwest get nailed.
