The west side boasts six established routes as of summer 2008 including the hardest route on Sweet 17, "Monkey Funk", 5.11c.

Start up a shallow, left-facing corner through steep, less-than-quality rock using the featured rock on the right and the gritty, non-featured rock on the left for feet. A nice, heavily-chalked block in the corner offers a nice clip hold but doesn't look like it'll be there for long.
