Access Issue: Private Property Details

Climbing at Cascade Canyon is on private property, not US Forest Service land. Climbing on private land is a privilege - please leave no trace and remind other visitors to treat the area with respect.

Description

Restaurant Row (aka The West Side) is across Cascade Creek from the majority of the climbing in the canyon. This side receives morning sun and good afternoon shade, making it a great afternoon summer location. There is some fun climbing and good rock with routes ranging from 5.8 - 5.12. This often overlooked area is worth a trip and shouldn't be missed.

Getting There

Follow the standard trail into the canyon and all the way down to the Garden of Eden Wall at the pool. Find a place to cross the creek (usually a jumble of trees, etc.), and continue up to the routes. When the creek is really flowing in the spring/early summer, this can be challenging or even dangerous. Later in the summer it can be a mellow rock crossing.
