Weekday Partners for Index Fun -- May - Sept

Hi!

Anyone with time on their hands or with a flexible schedule who would be interested in cragging at Index during the week?

I enjoy both trad and sport there, can follow into the .11's, am comfortable leading up to .10b trad and a bit harder on the clip ups in the Country, and love doing extra laps on toprope to maximize the mileage for the day.

I prefer to climb with experienced folks who take safety seriously -- helmets, checking knots, no drugs on board, etc.-- but not take ourselves so seriously. If we flail more than we flash, that's all part of the fun.

(I am also open to meeting at Leavenworth or Squamish with a little advanced planning, but Index is my main squeeze and I can almost always head out there on short notice.)

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the offer but aid climbing is not something I am drawn to try out.

Some folks on the Climb Index Facebook page were recently posting about wanting to connect others interested in aid climbing there.

I really want to climb in Squamish this summer. I am climbing with Mazamas Mountaineering group on the 26th/27th in Snoqualmie Pass, but do not plan on returning to Portland after that. I have full rack/rope/ wheels. Are you available anytime last week of june/first week of july?

I am tentatively planning to head to Squamish around June 22 and stay for a week or so, so it's a possibility that our trips could overlap by a few days.

Once my available dates are more defined, I would be happy to send you a PM to see if we can coordinate for a few days climbing together there.
