I'm trying to make heads or tails of the weather forecast for the New this weekend, and whether it is worth it to make the drive down from D.C. Been seeing everything from only chances of showers to possibly snow Sunday. Willing to make the drive if Sunday will be nice and Saturday is warm enough to climb (can just go to Bridge Buttress and Rico Suave I suppose.)

Hoping for some locals thoughts on what it might be like this weekend, if it is worth it, and maybe some other tips for wet weather climbing spots.

I always say to come here no matter what. The weather can be shit one minute and then perfect the next hour. Either way there is always something to climb no matter the temp or weather. Chris Whisenhunt

I mostly agree with Chris. I got unlucky in January where everything was soaked. I went to both the hole and the cirque looking for dry rock after a rain, but there was none! I think it was like a soda can in summer with the condensation.

I say there is *almost* always something to climb in all weather.
