The Fridge

Description 

The obvious roadside boulder on the way into the canyon before hitting the snow creek lot and the houses. Small area, but there is potential for some great problems up the hillside. And the Fridge itself has one of the best problems in Leavenworth. Also worth noting is that there are no access issues: in 2005, climbers and local businesses and organizations pooled their resources and purchased this entire area
(the Sam Hill area) for climbing and to save it from development.

Getting There 

At 3.2 miles from the Icicle Road junction, there is a pullout on the left. Park here and cross the road to the obvious big boulder with a crack on the road side that has a little pine tree growing out of its top (this is a fun v0 and the easiest downclimb).
