Description

The huge wall sitting above the town of Index visible from the road into town. Has long routes, both aid and free, and a mix of trad and sport. More committing that the 2 minute approach to the Lower Wall, but worth the pain. Classic aid lines include Town Crier and Green Dragon. Great multipitch free routes are the Davis-Holland and Heaven's Gate. Many more super burly routes exist and there are more to be done.

Getting There

From the Lower Wall parking, follow the train tracks to the GM area. Walk right past the start of GM and follow the obvious path uphill to the base of the wall.
