Grotto and Lookout closed MORE INFO >>>

"Walter" climbs the right side of the broad orange and black streaked buttress between "Sasha" and "Puppy Feet."
Pull over the initial bulge on pockets, side-pulls, and small positive features. Continue up the steep orange face on small positive features and an assortment of small 2-finger pockets to a final bulge. At the top mantle onto a wide ledge and the anchors.

40 feet to the right of "Welcome to Echo." "Walter" begins at a wide rocky flat spot below a small overlap.

5 bolts & 2-ring Fixe anchor.

Exciting and powerful moves past the 1st bolt leads to small, but positive edges and pockets on the gradually steepening orange buttress. Steep and fingery, the holds are small and the climbing sustained.
