Walk-off from Pentapitch

Can you get off pentapitch from the giant ledge before the last pitch? Looks like you should be able to scramble down to Coalpit. Anyone done this?

That's what I wanted to hear Brian! Is there a list of LCC moderates with walk offs somewhere? All I can think of is crescent, school room, and maybe Bong Bong on the Sail...Can you walk off from bushwack and callitwhatyouplease?

Skeered of rappelling?

No list I know of...

Maybe the motivation is soloing and not having to worry about getting down?

S. Ridge of Superior. All the Devil's Castle routes that top out the ridgeline (not that I'd suggest soloing any of them...too much loose rock).

For either Bushwack or Callitwhatyouplease...you'd have to continue climbing up prior to any walk off, methinks.

You can traverse left from the top of Bushwack to Schoolroom, fyi. I've walked off from the top of Bushwack but I can't remember much about it other than it wasn't too big of a deal.

You can also get down from the top of the Dihedrals by downclimbing one of the Five Fingers.

If you want to "not rappel" in BCC, you can walk off Steort's Ridge and Mule Hollow Wall. The MHW walk-off is kind of a thrash but the "not rappelling" there is really good.
