Description This is a line between Crack Face Route & Plinth on Hawk Eagle Ridge. This may be utilized to set up a TR on Plinth & Tombstone; however, it might be better to ascend Bowling Alley chimney slightly uphill instead. The real crux may be how many negative stars to assign this. Just to the right of the face with Plinth, find a vegetated, perhaps bushy, crack. Note: There is a healthy patch of poison ivy at the base which requires careful navigation to avoid. Ascend (or perhaps, better, don't ascend) this crack utilizing a key foothold on a hod [a la One Day in the Life of Ivan Dinysovich (sp?)] of flexing plant & dirt matter about 20 feet up. Enticing? When you get to the groove angling to the top of Plinth/Tombstone, head up past a rappel tree. Questionable hods and gear keeps your attention. 85 feet in all.
Protection To a #3 camalot, wires.
