Description Visions is an excellent climb as far as Ragged goes, but dont be fooled by the grade. This thing is hard even for Connecticut standards and feels a bit, dare I say it, sandbagged. Supposedly the straight up variation is an .11 but both ways are equally as sequential and technical.
Location This climb starts directly beneath a small bulge about 5 feet up, about 15 left of Unconquerable, and right next to the cave formed by the southern slab. It follows an incipient seam for about 30 feet before moving slightly right for about 5-10 feet and then back left to finish straight up.
Protection There is, to my knowledge, no fixed pro on this, although at one time there was. Best to toprope unless you've already got a headstone and coffin picked out.

| For reasons unknown to me, I led this route on sight in the early 1980s. I can testify: this line requires a great deal of commitment, but there is protection -- just enough to keep things from going completely insane. |
