Description Suggest change

This is the striking cliff (looks like an open snake mouth) just west of Morning Rock. It is also on private land but the current owners are welcoming climbers as part of the "Kettle Bluffs".

There are four different sections of the crag;

1) Left side of the open mouth - 2 routes, approached on the far left and also at the left side of the lower face.

2) Lower face - 3 short routes that begin directly behind the small boulder field at the base and ends at the wide ledge below the upper face.

3) Upper face center - 2 routes up the middle and right sides of the open mouth (note: the bolted line ("Ready To Strike") up the middle of the open mouth is incomplete and ends before the roof).

4) Upper face right side - 4 routes up the wide face right of the open mouth.

The upper face routes (and top anchors for the lower face) are approached by heading right and diagonally up from the right side of the lower face to access the upper ledge.

Getting There Suggest change

Park along the road and walk to the lower cliff which is directly above and behind the large boulders at the base.

The upper face routes (and top anchors for the lower face) are approached by heading right and diagonally up from the right side of the lower face to access the upper ledge.
