Anyone been up to Vedauwoo in the last week or two? Am wondering how wet it is and if the bugs are bad this spring?

i was there about 2 weeks ago. it stormed bad right at dark but no clue on wetness. i didn't notice any bugs but i am from Arkansas where bugs are abundant. it was pretty darn warm but not bad just gotta keep the sun off ya

Camped right by one of those cow swamps/creeks last weekend & didn't notice any bugs. Must be a tame year. It was warm climbing but with the wind/breeze I was almost tempted to add some sleeves for comfort. Only felt the heat when the breeze stopped.

I was there about two weeks ago. No bugs. Not wet at all. It sure as shit wont be wet now, either. Conditions, permanently: windy.

Because of the dry spring, the rare, East Nile dung beetles are everywhere and they carry a rare nuertoxin. Plus, all the fracking has created hourly tremors and it is VERY dangerous!

Bahahahhaha!! Amazing... I knew all that fracking water I inadvertently drank in Riverton was f***ing me up... hourly tremors, for sure!

I was there last weekend, the mosquitoes are horrendous in some places.

The last time I was there it was dry. Then, it rained. It got wet. Then, the rain stopped. It got dry.

Conditions are very very very coarse, a full body rubber suit is highly recommended.

Oh and the bugs....... Better than last year but there are a few of those pesky big black biting ones........
