Van Climbing Trip -- May onward!

Hello All!

It's been my dream for quite some time to live out of a van and I feel like the chance is right at my doorstep!
I met this Australian couple at Camp 4 about to tour the U.S. in a van, fully furnished, and I asked them to let me know when they were done with their trip so that I might buy it. Originally they wanted $6,000 for it, but I think no one bit and now they're down to $4,000, me being the first in line since I was the first to ask about it. It runs great, just has a smashed in front bumper that caused no internal damage. I was wondering if anyone wanted to go half on it ($2000) and follow the climbing weather for the next year or 5 or who knows how long!
I would buy the van now, but won't be able to begin the trip until May since I have one semester left for undergraduate (UC Merced) and then I'll be off!

If you're interested but hesitant about throwing a down payment with a guy you've never met I'd be happy to write up a short bio for ya. I am new to trad climbing but am serious about pushing the grade but having fun all the while.

Hey man,

My girlfriend (graduating in May as well) and I will be taking off from MA in May in a van I just purchased, looking to be out west and a keen eye on Wyoming for a bit if you're interested in meeting up and need a trad partner, shes along for the ride and climbs but would enjoy more days off than I would.

Not sure that would work very well but I will be in rifle June Wyoming July and squish in August if you'd like to meet up at all. Ryan you as well!!

Good luck finding a cobuyer and I recommend writing the ownership interest fairly airtight. Sellers may not be all over it

If it's a 4x I'll just buy it and allow you to tag along.
