Does anyone know where to find the info or location of the sport climbing crag named "revolution wall"? it is listed in the new bouldering guide book by Owen but I cant find any information online.

Ignore George's less than useful editorial comments and contact Jay Foley. He bolted this area and will be including it in his second edition of Taos Rock. According to Jay one of the 12s there is mega classic and I have no reason to doubt him. The number of climbs is very limited, however, and the crag is in a box canyon just upstream of the town of Vallecitos on the west side of the river. You can see the crag from the road and the approach is supposed to have cairns, although Jay told me it is involved and steep.

Have fun up there, William

I included Revolution Wall as a landmark in the bouldering book map because I was under the impression from Jay that it would be included in Taos Rock 2, which Im looking forward to seeing. Obviously there's a bit of a delay between these two books coming out hence the void of information.

Its supposed to be a bit of a hump, maybe 30 mins hike, and currently only a half dozen routes, but the 12c is supposed to be one of the best around. I have yet to make it there. You can see it clearly from the road. The rock is quartzite, and therefore amazing. There's some pics of the routes here:

And yes there is quite a bit more potential for these odd random sport cliffs in the Vallecitos area, but most of which would have a dozen or so routes max.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the feedback. I was in Posos last weekend and noticed it was listed in the book. LCC and SBF are my go to crags but I go north quite a bit to climb with the Gogases. I may check it out at the end of the month. Once again thanks for the feedback.
