The Orco Valley beautifully set in the Piemont Region of Italy. Narrow roads and pastoral landscape lead to granite walls fractured by cracks of all sizes and difficulties. Some Italian climbers have nick-named the area "Little Yosemite", complete with the "Caporal" and "Sergent", walls that multi-pitch. This is one of Italy's best traditional rock climbing areas.
Orco Valley is located about a 2 hour drive from Milan. The town of Cuorgnè is the entrance to the valley. The cliffs are located along either side of the road at various locations.

Refugi Fonti is an excellent place to stay and eat. The staff is very friendly and the prices are amazing. The food was so good! To get there, cross Torrente Orco on the road Via Fonti Minerali. The refugi is on perched on the south side of the river.
