Description Suggest change

The Ute Ulay Mine had approximately 10 farmed ice lines as of 2006. WI3-WI6 routes were 60 to 100 feet high. There are chains and bolts for top out anchors. Consider lawnchairs for belayers. It could get bitterly cold and windy at times. It is Southwest-facing. I am unsure of ownership, the area hasn't been farmed for the past few years. This area may be more of a historical footnote for the time being.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive about 2.5 miles west of town up Henson Creek to the Ute Ulay Mine. This is a maintained dirt road in winter. Ice is a one minute approach off south side of road.
