Ben T. and I will be climbing at the Reef in the San Rafael Swell this Saturday. Everyone is welcome to join us. If you want to carpool with us, send me an email. We are leaving Friday night and camping along side the road. We plan to climb from sunrise to sunset. The weather report looks promising!

where is the reef at the swell? what is the climbing like? I have spent some time at places like pine creek and the dylin wall but never heard of the reef. thanks.

Copy this link and paste it in your browser. The city of Green River has a big red star on it. Click on the Aerial Image tab in the upper right hand corner and you will be able to see the San Rafael River emptying into the Green River south of the city. The Reef is the thin white and maroon streak just west of the San Rafael River. If you zoom in closer, it is easier to make out the slabs.
