Delilah on Sampson and Delilah-Isolation Canyon

Looking for a solid/experienced alpine person to run up Mt Hood with this summer. Have 4 years of moutaineering on big and small ascents (Ranier, Denali, Peru, Volcanos) Just want to knock this one off, but nobody to do it with.

Just show up at Timberline parking lot and look for climbers. I climbed it in May and you really don't need a partner or a rope if the schrund is in good shape. If it's not in good shape there are plenty of people to tie in with for that one section.

Cheers.

Well, thx but my experience says that is not the best way for a woman to get a shot at tagging on to a route. It is the old double edge sword, everyone likes a chick along, but no one wants to just take a chance....I tried that on Denali after my parner crapped out cuz everyone said same thing "go to 14 no problem you'll find someone", yet most men still have misgivings about woman mountaineers, something about how we can't pull out weight, can we be relied on, are we strong enough?. Guys will take the an unknown inexperienced man over an expereinced woman climber anyday it seems (I mean mostly alpine here, not rock climbing).
So I'll still search, if ya know anyone?May consider the solo thing

Sorry, I didn't calculate the male/female dynamic. Maybe http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/ will help increase the search pool.

Cheers
