Howdy,
I'm just finishing off my biology degree this semester, and I want to celebrate in grand style. Anyone for a go at moonlight? I can't free it so it will have to be an aid ascent, or i'll whimper my way up following a hard person. Preferably fix and blast, or one day ascent. I'm up for other walls as well, but moonlight is on the top of the list.
Either email me, or call at 801-913-8001

Harbingers- 2 Pitches- 5.11b/

Definitly the best route at Prophesy Wall and most challenging. Beautiful solid aręte following a tower up the left side of the middle routes of Prophesy Wall. The first pitch is the same for Conditional Bliss and Caging the Zealot. Then turn left to the base of the tower. Take on an overhanging face just right of the aręte and turn out onto it for easier moves up to the crux final which is a wild move, no feet, back right to the overhanging anchor. 60’ on six bolts. A couple of extra sets of batteries for your headlamp might be a good idea ;)

You could do it in a day this time of year if your solid on aid.
Fix to rocker blocker or if your savy to bring three ropes you could even fix to the top of the grand on day one leaving the chimney pitch and two long pitches to the top.
No Problem. But.... :)
it will be pretty darn chilly so take that into account. short days as well so like nelson said head lamp batteries are cool.
I'd love to go fire that thing again but I will be too busy sipping brews in SoulCAL.
Go get it!

I'm not worried about the cold or finishing in the dark. my biggest concern is having no partner, because then i might do something stupid like trying to solo it, roped of course:)

I am on a solo trip heading out west with no itenerary in mind. I am well prepaired for the cold and would love to join you. I am driving from Colorado headed to Utah. Gass getting all the way to Zion is a bit of an issue so wondering if you could meet me somewhere. I will be unable to access my email after tonight so the best way to reach me is by phone. 303-332-7220 Hope to hear from you man!
