I work in NE Utah as a Wilderness therapy instructor. I have every other week off. I spend most of my off-shifts camped out near Moab, looking for climbing opportunities.

I know the area pretty well and have a lot of ideas for fun routes to climb. I'm still a little green with my climbing. I'm TRing 5.10+ indoors (5.11- on good days), bouldering V2 (Big Bend standards), leading 5.8 sport, 5.6 trad (new to trad). My trad rack is pretty thin (4 C4's, handful of hexes) but gets bigger every paycheck.

I'm looking for a belay partner that can help me work toward my goal to climb 5.10 multi-pitch trad. I'm happy to return the favor and help you work toward your climbing goals.

I've been training a lot this past winter and am suspicious I'm climbing well below my limits. I believe my mental game and lack of a good partner is holding me back.

I'm up for anything. I'm on-shift next week from Tuesday the 15th to the following Tuesday, the 22nd. The following week, I'm looking to climb as much as possible. How's the week of the 23rd look for you?

Saw your note. Greetings from out West, Lake Tahoe. Never been to Indian Creek, though I've heard a lot about it and have set my mind to climb there, hopefully sooner than later. I have some free time from now to June. I'm 48 (hard to believe) but still climbing robust I think. (Lots of prune juice!) Ten years climbing, never been hurt. Lots of trad experience. But all on granite. 5.9 lead, some 5.10 lead, 5.11 in the gym. Definitely dependable, safety conscious. Require the same. Very used to roughing it, in minimalist living style, too. Flexible climbing style: competitive adventurous to recreational adventurous. Whatever.

Is Indian Creek like Yosemite? Can even a single hook up easily with others or is it way way more rural with no climbing camp sites to visit once you're there?
