DescriptionFreedom Peak is a little-known peak in the southern Wasatch, between Cascade Peak and Provo Peak. From Provo and Orem, the peak is framed by Rock Canyon. Getting ThereThe most common approach (and the approach for the hiking route and the north face) is via Dry Fork. To get to Dry Fork, you've got two options: The first (and easiest) is to take the Squaw Peak road from Provo Canyon to Rock Canyon Campground. (This road is paved for 4.6 miles and unpaved for 5 miles). Keep driving past the campground for .5 mile and park when you see an obvious trail coming in from the left.
