BETA PHOTO: Iron Oxide Falls

Description

In this area you will find widely scattered ice routes forming mostly over sandstone and conglomerate rock. Because the routes are located at fairly low altitude the ice often melt and reform during the course of the winter season. Some routes form reliably each year while others seldom form up to climbing shape.

Getting There

The ice climbs described here are scattered along Highway 6 between Spanish Fork Canyon, and Price Canyon, and in Diamond Fork Canyon. Following the directions under each ice route to find them.
