Description 

The second star is for turning the roof which is pretty neat. The rest of the climb is pretty mellow. Crux is probably the reach to a hole above the lip of the roof. The reach is a bit farther than you would like. But you can clip the bolt from below the roof.


Location 

right up the middle of the wall through the center of the roof.

Why is the route called Magic Helmet? A hold broke on Christian before he got to the first bolt and he cartwheeled down the slope. Luckily he was wearing a helmet. This is the damage he sustained WITH a helmet...

Just bolted this on Sat(3/22/08). Still a tad dirty at two places. But we are going back up on Monday to give it a really good scrub and then it will be all good.

The roof is a lot of fun, although I left a bit of skin on a sharp hold.

Name changed due to name already used by another RC route. So many routes, it's hard to keep track!!! Much cleaner now. Pretty much good to go.
