Lee clipping bolts on the way to the top.

Description

The 5th line of bolts from the left. This climb has a thin beginning but eases up after the 2nd bolt. Well protected and enjoyable.

Protection

5 Quickdraws, plus 2 for the anchors.

The name is a bit misleading, because all of the holds are reachable with good footwork. Most of the action occurs over the first three clips: jug hauls, laybacks, and an interesting mantle between bolts 2 and 3, requiring good balance. The last 30 feet is run out, but the holds are bomber.

Not really height dependent at all.

Since this route has multiple cruxes down low and is a bit sequential, it is easy to think that it is harder than it really is. Once you've done it once, none of the moves seem harder (to me) than 5.8, but when leading it for the first time it might seem a bit more difficult.

The runout after the last bolt keeps things spicy but is really easy. Kudos to the FA for not putting another bolt there.
