Large arete with quarry work on the left side for holds up to a shot hole out right then up to the top.
Location
Park just up the canyon from the LDS archive road. Take the trail up the hill as if you are headed up to Lizard Head wall. As you follow the cairns soon you will come out of the trees and see this boulder up to your right in the gully.
Protection
Bring a BIG pad. There is a good constructed landing, but if you blew it up high you're probably going to get hurt.
I remember a photo of LCC Lou climbing this thing from at least 3 years ago and Lou never said it was an FA. Nice job repeating it, pretty tall and scary.
I don't do much bouldering in the canyon. I just came across this thing and just thought it needed to be climbed. It wasn't about a first ascent (even though at the time I thought it hadn't been done.) so nobody needs to be sorry. Baldwin and I did a lot of work on the landing and a lot more work cleaning it. Just go climb the thing. It climbs really well.
