Description 

This boulder gets sun almost all day. Although fairly close to the road it tends to stay uncrowded. The boulder itself is quite grainy compared to the standard fair found within the canyon. Some say its a pile others say its their favorite spot so you must decide for yourself.

Getting There 

Park approx. 1.1 miles up the canyon (from the Nat'l park sign). Same parking as for the Gate Buttress.....head up the trail and it is the first boulder that you will see on your right.
