BETA PHOTO: Run Aground follows the magenta line.

Description

Run Aground is a super-dirty chossfest that has a few redeeming hand jams toward the top. Start up a crack in a dihedral. Climb through the trees and milk the hand cracks above for all they're worth. Don't make the long, arduous hike for this climb alone. Oh, and try not to pull the loose rocks down onto your partner. How's that for a crux?

Location

Run Aground is the rightmost crack system on the wall shich leans to the right, heads straight up through some trees, and then follows left leaning cracks to the top. A tree with slings and rappel rings provides an exit.

Protection

Nuts and hand-sized cams, slings for the trees. A tree with slings and rappel rings provides an exit for all routes on the Gallant Wall.
