BETA PHOTO: Weird bolt line:
Two bolts on an arete, and then a...

Description

Blaze up an arete past two bolts and then jump across the top of a chimney to the main buttress. Although these initial moves are fun, they seem more like an afterthought. You could simply climb up the short chimney and clip the third bolt for your first point of protection. Beyond the third bolt, the climbing gets interesting. A fantastic undercling lets you bring your feet high enough for you to reach a side pull over a bulge. Pull your legs up and lieback your way up to some enormous jugs. Short but pumpy, a little soft for the rating, and a whole lot of fun.

Location

First climb from the left. Start on the arete on the right side of a chimney, then jump across the top to the main buttress and continue up the bolt line through a short overhanging section. Rappel from the double chain anchor.

Protection

6 bolts to a 2 chain anchor. Helmets for choss.
