BETA PHOTO: 4) Shark Bait 5) Lone Shark

Description

Shark Bait climbs the smooth, water-polished hand crack (2nd from the right) on the right side of the face. It starts steep but eases up. Also, it starts in the creek, so traverse over or wait for fall and low runoff.

Protection

Shark Bait has no fixed anchors, so bring gear and slings. Medium gear protects this climb.

This climb still has a fallen tree resting up against it.

This route is better than it looks. Broken rock up top detracts a bit, but the hand crack is super.

The tree really isn't in the way on this one. You won't even notice it.
