Description

This climbs the arete with bolts. Another nice climb with water polished rock. Don't use the gully, just the arete. A nice summer evening climb. AKA Spring Feed

Protection

2 bolts atop, and I believe 7? draws needed for the rest of the climb. I brought a med cam for a tricky bulge that I felt exposed on, but not neccesary.

I remeber thinking possibly one piece if fixed gear might be nice when we did the FA. I was saddened to hear it got drilled. What's done is done, but if you want the real experience bring your cams and wires.

Skip the bolts. Well worth your time to lead this without bolts. A little runout near the bottom where the rock is loose. I got a large cam almost off the ground, then my next piece between 2 and 3 on the right of the arete. The rest of the gear is straight forward with almost no runout, except fro the top, where I used a brass to finish out the easy slab. Shame to see the bolts is a fact.
