BETA PHOTO: The CB Memorial Route and surrounding climbs.
Description
Climb up the boxy buttress feature, past some small plants and several horizontal crack systems to the top of the cliff. There route is characterized by thin, crimpy sections between the juggy horizontal cracks.
Location
This route starts 7 or so feet to the right of an unnamed 5.7 (the same 5.7 that shares the start of the unnamed 5.10a). It's just left and around the corner from Rocker (5.7-). The route goes up a boxy mini-buttress, passing several horizontal crack systems. There are several small plants visible on the route.
Protection
4-6 cams from fingers to 3". The 3" cam goes in the first horizontal crack system. There are no anchors on top.
This route was named after our friend Christian Burrell (aka Crisco). His wife is very pregnant and due any day now, and Christian's been going crazy from barely being able to get out climbing for the past several weeks. His climbing life is dead for a while. Good luck, buddy. We miss you.
This route has two starts. The left start is more direct, the right start is probably a bit harder. If you start right, you'll have to traverse left 4 or 5 feet at the first horizontal crack system.
