Description

This is a fun little wall. The routes are short, about 35 feet. But the rock is good and the climbing is fun. You can TR everything with the anchors up top, and there is onw bolted route. Remember to bring your raincoat anytime yougo up to the Uintah's, as it rains pretty much every day. This is good place to bring beginners because the climbs are in the 5.8-5.10 range, but pretty short so most can make it up. These climbs all have great views.

Getting There

Park at the Pass Lake trailhead, which is about 1 mile past Mirror Lake. Hike up the trail for about 10 min. You will pass a small pond, there should be a sign that points out the trail, continue on the trail for about 100 yards you will see a cliff band on your left. Follow along the top unitl you find the anchors (about 100 yards). you can either rap down or scramble down around the cliffs.

The Uinta rock book had bad beta on this climb, we took the trail that points to scout lake and followed it right at the first lake(as indicated in the book), that goes nowhere!! We followed the trail left but due to our side trip and the fact that the sun was setting we had to call off the adventure. Anyone wanna clear up the confusion?

You're right, the beta on the book is completely wrong. The book says you turn right well before you get to the lake. You actually go left after you get to the lake. Once you crest a hill and see the lake in front of you, continue on the trail for about 100 yards as it goes left around the lake, then follow the cliff band on te left until you get to the face. The book did cause me quite a problem to find this place. It seems that if you publish a guide book you should at least have the approach correct.
