BETA PHOTO: Elaine's Lookout. Where Grandmas fear to tread is...

Description

This route was meant to lead to the top of Elaine's Lookout, however, I got shutdown by a rotten crack above this climb.

This climbs a beautiful hand crack for about 30 foot to a slab. Rap from a bolt above and right of a small tree.

Location

Descend the 4WD road behind Swasey's Cabin. When you get to the canyon bottom you will come to a point where the road splits to the right and to the left. Park in the wash. Elaine's Lookout is the tower that looks out over the three canyons at the junction.

Protection

Small to medium cams.
