Joe Ballent on Baby's First Splashdown.

Description

Depending on water levels, you'll be able to mantle onto a nice shelf to stand on for the start. Lots of left and right-leaning holds. Be ready to stretch. About three-quarters of the way up, mantle up to a sitting position. If you're climbing in the summer, watch out for gigantic Dobson flies.

Location

Swim/wade out to the far edge of the boulder. Start as far right as possible.

Protection

When you fall, just be sure to push off from the rock. About 12 feet out from shore the ground drops out- it's highly recommended to not climb too close to shore. Watch out for submerged Tammy roots.
