Golden Nugget with Gold Bar in the background.

Description

This canyon is access to two towers that I know of. Gold Bar and a unnamed tower that we are going to call Golden Nugget until I'm corrected.

Getting There

Drive down the Potash Road towards Jug Handle Arch. A short distance past the Corona Arch Trailhead (1/4 mile?) is a large culvert on the right side of the road. Park there and hike up to the railroad tracks, or take the road just before the culvert pull out and drive up to the railroad tracks. Either way once on the railroad tracks walk on the tracks to the left side (with your back to the road) of the canyon. There is a old road/ramp that leads you to a trail and over a fence. Walk the rim of the canyon on a faint trail.

If anyone knows the real name of the Golden Nugget Spire or the routes on it please tell me and I will change it. Same goes for the South Face route on Gold Bar Tower.

Thanks,
Ben

John, both of these towers are super fun and should get more action then they do.
