Barbara Beran on the summit of Barbs Tower, First ...

Description

A group of small hoodoos of the Cutler sandstone formation.

Getting There

My directions will be vague because I wasn't taking down any mileage on this trip and was on a bicycle.
From Hurrah Pass drive south on Lockhart Basin Road. After passing the turnoff for the Chicken Corners there is a difficult 4wd maneuver, even with very high clearance. Just past that, the road turns to the west and after a bit there will be a group of two or three hoodoos next to the road on the left . They are very obvious.
You can also approach from the south via Indian Creek, and you don't have to go over the bad 4wd spot. Even though high clearance is still wanted.
